Digital Marketing Specialist

Are you a seasoned social media user who knows when to post, what caption to write, and who to follow? The social media team is an equal mash-up of creative copywriting and visuals. Being part of the team also means you’re staying up to date with the current trends and know how to capitalise on them.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to position the company as a leader in the industry, including the launch of 'first in Malaysia' FMCG product. 
- Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, key market trends, and growth opportunities. 
- Define and maintain a consistent brand identity across all channels and customer touchpoints. 
Marketing Campaigns & Content Creation:
- Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote products and services. 
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, digital content, and social media posts. 
- Create, curate, proofread, and manage all published content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives. 
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results. 
Digital Marketing & Social Media Management:
- Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing. 
- Manage the company’s presence on various social media platforms, creating engaging content to drive growth, engagement, and conversions. 
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users and the community in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales. 
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the organization competitive. 
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new opportunities and areas for growth. 
- Analyze the competitive landscape and customer insights to inform marketing strategies. 
- Prepare and present reports on market trends, campaign performance, and ROI. 
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, including agencies, vendors, influencers, and third-party collaborators. 
- Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with overall business objectives and brand guidelines. 
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. 
- Monitor expenditures and optimize spending to maximize ROI. 
- Handle ad-hoc functions, special assignments, and related tasks as required. 
 Qualifications:
- Attention to detail. 
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 
- 3+ years of experience in brand management and marketing roles, with a strong background in FMCG. 
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. 
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. 
- Excellent command of English, with strong copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills. 
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools). 
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a strong visual sense. 
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, confidential environment and as part of a collaborative team.
