E-commerce Specialist/ Manager

Job Summary

Our company is looking for an E-commerce Specialist/ Manager to join our team. Our ideal applicant is organised enough to manage our online inventory and creative enough to help design online marketing campaigns to increase our digital sales.

You will optimise our campaigns using marketing and SEO strategies and measure how much they increase web traffic by using analytics tools. While we prefer applicants who have a bachelor's degree in marketing, it is more important that you have experience managing a digital store or inventory of products.

You will create and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Plan and propose the online marketing strategies for the category. Support its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of online activities

2. Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.

3. Work closely with other digital marketing/campaigns members to ensure that media is aligned to business objectives.

4. Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media.

5. Use agile testing (A/B, multivariate) to step change toward improved results over time.

6. Ensure meaningful Performance Marketing insights and reporting

7. Be a subject matter expert to assigned product categories.

8. Identify SEO best practices regarding inventory, pre-orders, and pricing policies.

9. Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) to stay organized.

10. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Knowledge of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, usage of various leading e-Commerce website builders (e.g. Shopify, Elementor), product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices.

2. Knowledge of various online platforms and online sales strategies that can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.

3. Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail.

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

5. Analytical and multitasking skills.

6. BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field.

7. Bachelor's degree in marketing (preferred)

8. Experience managing digital product inventory

9. Experience using web analytics and optimization tools
